Week 2 is here! Week 2 is here! Are you guys ready for another week of My New Roots recipes and reviews??

I’ve got some really exciting recipes lined up this week.  Because I am a day late on posting it, I am also going to add to this post some planning to do for the week ahead.  I have posted a meal plan, nutritional content and a grocery list for those who plan to follow along! I also will be highlighting some other friends who are following suit with the challenge on Instagram, and their own recipes they have picked.  I have been so excited to share my journey with the people I have met on Instagram.  If you aren’t following me yet, please do! BREAKFASTS

  1. Revolutionary Pancakes and Cashew Cream (I have enough in the grocery list for 3 servings)
  2. Sweet Potato Skillet Hash

MEALS

  1. Genius Chickpea Tofu (Make with Side Salad or Stirfry)
  2. Caramelized Fennel on Herbed Polenta (Cookbook, page 98)
  3. Smoky Tempeh Sandwich
  4. Comfy Sweet Potato

SNACKS

  1. Fully Loaded Breakfast Bars (cookbook, page 81)
  2. Chakra Fruit Salad with Enlightened Tahini Sauce
  3. Raspberry Macadamia Thumbprint cookies (cookbook, page 109)

Here are some things to prep for the week:

  1. Soak black beans for the Comfy Sweet Potato – Sarah explains it well here, and also in her cookbook
